This gorgeous clock makes a major statement in any setting—and the history behind it only adds to its luster.
Designed for wall display, the clock measures an impressive 44 inches in diameter and is made from a piece cut from the aft pressure bulkhead of a retired 737-300. The Boeing 737 is the best-selling commercial jetliner in history, and the 737-300 is the most popular of the earlier 737 “Classic” models. Between 1984 and 1999, Boeing delivered more than 1,000 737-300s. The aft pressure bulkhead, located behind the rear galley, separates the cabin from the airplane’s auxiliary power unit. The piece has been trimmed to size, hand-polished, and given a silver powder-coat finish before being fitted with a high-torque clock mechanism and black hour and minute hands.
A Certificate of Authenticity is included with the clock, which was made in the USA. A hanging wire is attached to the back. The clock weighs approximately 15 pounds. The purchase price is $4,500 (plus shipping and sales tax, where applicable).
