Bremont, a luxury watchmaking firm co-founded by British pilots Nick and Giles English, has just released a new limited-edition watch that honors the Boeing centennial: the Bremont Boeing 100.
Bremont worked directly with Boeing to create the Boeing collection of fine mechanical timepieces, which incorporate the same advanced materials used in the manufacture of our aircraft. The Boeing 100 watch, which is limited to only 300 units, is a mechanical GMT chronograph. It features the beloved Boeing totem logo on an unusual vintage-brown dial, the color of which was inspired by the “Boeing brown” shade used in the cockpits of early Boeing aircraft. The dial is complemented by an off-white scratch-resistant sapphire bezel. Carbon fiber composite from the 787 Dreamliner flying testbed airplane is integrated into the crown of each Boeing 100, so the watch honors not only Boeing’s heritage but also its future. The 43-mm case is made from aviation-grade Ti 6-4 titanium with a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback that showcases the BE-54AE chronometer rated movement; the watch is water resistant to 10 atm. The handsome strap is brown calfskin leather with a titanium pin buckle.
Boeing Store is one of the few retailers to carry the Bremont Boeing 100 and other watches in the collection. The watch is available in select Boeing Stores or online at BoeingStore.com. Boeing employees receive special pricing. If you would like to receive one of the Bremont catalogs on the Boeing partnership, email us at info@boeing.com.
