The iconic Boeing 727 airliner brought jet-powered speed and comfort to short routes, making air travel possible for more people than ever before. This spectacular industrial-style table honors the historic plane. The table is constructed of leading-edge slats from a 727-200 wing, topped with two polished sheets of 1/2″-thick glass. The top rests on curved legs made out of a Pratt & Whitney JT8D-9 engine stator from a 727-200. All pieces have been cleaned and buffed to a smooth finish. A custom steel pipe functions as a support brace and footrest.
