This artifact is a genuine 737 Pratt & Whitney JT8D engine stator ring that has been refurbished and converted into a working wall clock. The stators, or stationary airfoils, in a jet turbine engine control airflow through the rotor blades. This limited-edition piece has been cleaned, polished, and given a silver powder-coat finish before being fitted with a contemporary stainless-steel clock face with hand-hammered copper disc accent.
