The Boeing 737 jetliner, launched in 1967, is without question the best-selling commercial jetliner in history. Customers around the world have ordered 13,000 of the single-aisle twinjets in more than a dozen commercial, military, and private versions—including the new 737 MAX and P-8A Poseidon and the Boeing Business Jet.

A new book from Boeing Press, Remarkable: The Story of the Boeing 737 , tells the story of this record-setting jetliner. Nearly 100 pages of original text and exclusive Boeing photographs cover the origin of the 737, its evolution, and exciting prospects for the future. The gorgeous 100-page hardcover book is a must-have for any fan of aviation, Boeing, or the 737.

“The 737 program almost didn’t get off the ground,” said Carrie Kipp Howard, author of the book. “Orders were slow at first. But when airlines began to realize how versatile and efficient the 737 was, they couldn’t get enough of the ‘baby Boeing.’ It’s an amazing success story.”
